Electoral Systems Mini-Unit

The electoral systems mini-unit compares the rules countries use to choose their leaders, and asks how those rules affect whether people accept the result as legitimate. Most students in Canada and the United States know only first-past-the-post, so each lesson uses a current election to show another system at work. Each lesson has three reading levels for Grades 6-12.
